Being new parents, we were graced with guests; wanted and unwanted at times.  We needed a way to let them know when the little one was sleeping, feeding or being fussy,(or we just wanted to be left alone) so we decided to leave notes at the door.

Depending on the day/mood, we would leave messages asking guests to text or knock. Ringing the doorbell would send the dog into a barking frenzy and wake the baby we had spent so much time trying to swaddle, shush, rock, sway, bounce, sing to sleep.

With the notes working so well, we upped the ante and had a stork whiteboard prototype made.  We got such a great response from our family and friends that it encouraged us to take the idea to an online store.
